The El Paso Wings Track Club 6 and under division, the Mini Wings, finished their season in glorious fashion. At the Border Association Junior Olympic Championships held June 19-20th at Andress High School, these boys and girls completed their season with 6 first place finishes, 6 second and 5 third place finishes. A total of 12 Mini Wings went home with medals from their relays and three additional ones from long jump.

One athlete, Maria Garcia went home with 3 gold medals of her own. She finished 1st in the 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash and also her 4×100 meter relay.
